Xmas... funny how everyone has to enjoy this holiday. I think its a matter of how much money you can make out of it, is what it boils down to for many. If you can't butter up your boss with a gift, or milk money out of a grandmother selling junk to her, for her grand kids, this holiday is nothing but a vacation day. I personally have spent several days, over the last few weeks, working on a Vanagon locally with the intent to help the owner who is currently down on his luck, with not much income. This is what xmas should be! I don't give gifts to those who don't need them. I don't like receiving gifts, because I don't need anything. If I'm ask what I would like, I always say a new Vanagon Syncro camper. If you have kids or a big family, maybe this is just a great time to get together. If I had a big family, I would take everyone for a ride in the Syncro, to see Xmas lights. Its always interesting to hear friends and family complain how old my Vanagons are, and hear them comment about the work I do on them. This year has not been any different. Another year older, and a little more rust.
