Dave, Could this wire be .... I can't remember the name. Like the very old TV antena wire. There was 2 conductors, each kept an exact distance from the other. This creats the same effect of coax cable today. If this is true, these wires can only be cut only at the end of the wavelength that it is to be tunes to. Unlike coax cable witch can be trimmed to any distance.
