If I can help in any way .... Feel free to call me at 480 620 8966
The oil leak problem may be the Distributor O-Ring. Make sure the shop

Subject: Vanagon repair in Phoenix AZ area?
I looked at the recommended repair list. I searched the archives.
Nothing I could find.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a vanagon repair shop in Phoenix?
We've been on the road a lot and she's been doing well, but right before
we hit Phoenix tonight I looked in my rearview window and thot, gee
that's weird to have condensation on the back window and not the front.
Well, when we stopped at my spouses parent's house (only 15 miles or so
later) and got out I went around back to look at the condensation thing.
It is oil. There is oil leaking from the box near the back axel (square
box that has 'fins'...drips coming from 4-5 points). (sorry, I'm not
super well trained on the engine stuff...I don't know if this is oil,
transmission fluid or what)...thoughts on what it is, and suggestions on
where to bring it appreciated. We're supposed to be heading back to
Oakland on the 3rd of January.
The only thing I knew to check is fluid levels. Everything is at fine
levels...
Thanks,
Kriss
