Jeff, You just fried the electrical portion of the switch, It is plastic and easy to remove, don't pull the mechanical part of the switch out, what you want to pull is on the other end of the mechanical switch, look a little further in the Bentley book it's in there. It's held in by a tiny screw. Phil
