Interesting. Maybe this would be a better place to connect the aftermarket reomte oil pressure sending unit. Leave the stock low pressure sender(4.4 psi) between the pushrod tubes in place to warn of problems at the beartings. One could disable the high pressure sender(13.1 psi) circuit (it really is useless) by grounding the wire.
