Here are some recommended shops in our area: 1. Competition Engineering, Tempe, 480-966-8802 2. Germen Auto repair, Mesa, 480-834-4613 3. All German, South Phoenix, 602-437-0181 All of these shops have done work for me and others, no bad experiences to report. Hermann, plenty of Vanagons in the Valley of the Sun. Your just not in the right spot. Squaw Peak area (Paradise Valley, Scottsdale) is not the place to find em. Wealthier folks up there drive SUVs/ Infinity's/ etc... Hi Kriss and all

I am on vacation here right now near Squaw Peak, mostly hiking and such, but for the past 2 weeks I have not spotted a single vanagon or westy in the Valley. Some old rustbuckets, yes, but other than that nothing , nada, nichts. That's worse than Kansas City where you can see at least one Westy a week.

Good luck finding a garage in a town where everybody seems to be driving brand spanking new SUVs.

Cheers,

Hermann de Boer
