Subject: FS: 2.1L WBX good runner, Victoria, BC

The insurance runs out on our '88 Westy in a few weeks, so I am considering finally doing the diesel engine swap... IF I can sell the current 2.1L WBX engine:

-runs great, no leaks, uses less than 0.5L per 10k kms. -has run with synthetic oil since I've had it, 7 years, ~65k kms. -total of 210k kms on a VWoC factory reman, done by dealer in 1991 (all receipts) -long life coolant changed every 2 years -has run flawlessly since fixing a nagging ECU problem last summer.

Good strong engine - I would not hesitate to take the van across the country in current state (and may do so if it doesn't sell...)

The van can be driven until mid January near Victoria BC.

Price $1000CDN negotiable, depending on accessories included.

Thanks.-- Shawn Wright http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright '88 Westy 375k '85 Jetta D 263k '85 Jetta TD 482k (retired) ~This message sent by Pegasus Mail, the safe E-Mail alternative~ "Friends don't let friends use Outlook"
