HI, all, I just want to learn how to do the basic tune-up for 91' water cooled vanagon. After spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, and air filter were replaced, the car performs even worst - misfired, staled etc.. Where could I find the timing mark on the engine case (advancing degree, etc.) - I found the timing mark on the pulley. Anything else I need to adjust to make the car running right? Thanks in advance for your advice. I need a book such as "tune-up for dummy" - I own a shop manual of vanagon, but it is not clear. Paul '91 vanagon |
