You might have someone press the clutch down (keep engine off, block bus) and crawl underneath to see if it's the shift linakge that is the problem. While the person inside is trying to shift, see if the linkage is moving the shifter on the tranmission. If not try and help it move by grabbing it and pushing it into position.

Otherwise it sounds like the clutch is not disengaging and you can't get it into gear because it's grinding?

The pilot bearing may have not been changed or it went bad. Maybe the input shaft on the transmission has a bad bearing and the whole thing is wabbling?

What is happening to the clutch? Is the shop that installed it at fault?

I am driving to Shreveport, Louisiana tonight to attend the Missouri vs. Arkansas bowl game tomorrow. Hopefully the van will run fine.
