I have one in my 81 as well. There are two(or is it three) fuses, and a circuit breaker in the outside chance that you haven't checked on all of them. One of the fuses is in the smaller panel right of the big long fuse panel. Years ago, when I first got the van, the heater stopped working and I thought I was screwed until I stumbled across the circuit breaker under the dash, below, and behind the heater/timer knob. It has a small red button/switch on it for resetting.

I hope its that simple. How come those heaters test out fine all summer long, but when you need em...........? :-)

John
