 I have got a vanagon with a bed and would like to put it to use.Also I think I found the answer to the problem of no cup hooks.  I have an old blaupunkt dallas radio installed, so I have a hole in my dash.  The older ford toruse(how ever you spell it) Have a single din cup holder change draw.  I theory it shopuld fit right in the open slot.   have yet to try this as i dont have the part.  And i am not going to the junk yard in below frezzing temp.  What vanagon orgs are in the ohio area
