<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV class=RTE> <P>My 90gl is on its original tranny with 215,000 miles on it. all i have done to it is tranny flush and filled with redline MT 90 at about 180,000. i replaced all transaxle seals, and just cleaned her up, but have never been inside the tranny. No problems, sometimes grinds very mildly when going into reverse, only very occasionally. That's it though! Seems to be fine i expect another 40,000-50,000 miles out of it, with my fingers crossed of course!</P> <P>jason<BR><BR></P></DIV> <DIV></DIV>>From: "sam.cooks" <SAM.COOKS@VERIZON.NET> <DIV></DIV>>Reply-To: "sam.cooks" <SAM.COOKS@VERIZON.NET> <DIV></DIV>>To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM <DIV></DIV>>Subject: Re: transmission life expectancy? 175k+ <DIV></DIV>>Date: Mon, 12 Jan 2004 20:34:31 -0500 <DIV></DIV>> <DIV></DIV>>the transaxle in my 84 has about 175,000 miles on it and works just <DIV></DIV>>fine.
