Hi, This has happened to me twice. The first time this happened, my tank got clogged up - which I didn't know until I backed out of the driveway and the Vanagon stalled. I couldn't drive back up to the garage. Bummer. (I am taking out my gas tank for the third time because it has gotten clogged up again. ) The other time this happened to me, was when I had a dead starter in my '65 bus. I decided to roll it down a hill to start it. And it didn't. I had to get a friend to tow me me back up the hill back to the house. Or possibly these were "rust-free" Vanagon from Arizona. The owner was embarrassed to drive them around IL, so he/she is going to leave them out in back until the floors rot through. Conrad |
