HI: As you remember from my last saga, the diesel pump would only idle and it would die when I touched the throttle. Well I soaked the pump in diesel fuel and Red-Line cleaner, then drained it real good. Today the van runs great! New question, on the front of the motor where on a gas engine the fuel pump or the cover plate with the fuel pressure regulator is located, I have a cover plate that has a nipple on it and a rubber plug. I removed the plug and the motor seams to run a little better. I can not find this in Bentley or anywhere! What is this and where doe's it go? P.S. I can't locate any wires in the loom or anywhere for the two water temp. senors on the back of the motor! |
