replaceing the clutch slave is not that hard. I've read all the post on this as well and wonder what the big deal is. hardest part about the slave for me was actually getting the supply line out of the slave--which I never did--got a used one from a parts van some one is parting in town. had no problem getting the 2 nuts and bolts from the engine compartment. I did brkae master, clutch master, clutch slave and bleed it all in about 4 hours work time (obviously took me a day to track down the supply line) this was a job I have always dreaded since i've heard the horror stories myself. its no big deal at all. now if all supply line were banjo fitting like the syncro's--I would have been happier. oh yeah--totally took care of all shifting issues, wimpy clutch pedal, and wimpy brakes in this van mike |
