Hello everyone! Particulars: 1991 Vanagon Carat, 142K, automatic, original engine running very well I'm preparing to change my CV joints out and in my initial look under the van I noticed that there appears to be a small drip coming from the automatic transmission. Having just had the AT serviced (using the kit from BusDepot, new screen and gasket + fluid of course), I'm wondering anyone has any tips for me. I've check the receipts from the previous owners and noticed that the final drive seal had been replace many years back. So, how can I determine where the leak may be originating? That is, how can I determine a a final drive seal vs. something else with the AT? Thanks! -Robert Campbell |
