Scott, You can use a length of "Allthread" with a washer and nut that will clear the circlip on the flywheel side ... but fit against the pin itself. Then a piece of pipe (resting against the piston) that the pin will fit into ... onto which you put another washer and nut. Tighten the nut against the pipe thereby drawing the pin out of the piston. After removal, clean the varnish off the wrist pin and its receptacle with ordinary lighter fluid (naphtha) and it will easily fit back in. Mike Houlton, ME '84 GL 7 pass '85 GL Westy |
