I should clarify...
When I called TiiCo, it was in regards to something else. When Peter
mentioned that the EO for CA was still in limbo, I didn't really question
it, as I wasn't aware one way or the other.
But following our conversation, I was perusing the archives for general
TiiCo info and found this post which appears to have been sent to the TiiCo
Yahoo Group by Peter and forwarded here by a listee:

At last the TiiCo conversion has been issued an executive order and
is approved for California roads. The number is D-573 issued on 1
October. Evaporative system must be hooked up properly and O2
installed in cat. Any questions, please email me directly at
sales@tiico.com. A HUGE thank you to all those who have been
incredibly patient! The process took 23 months!
Best Rgds,
Peter

This is why I am confused. I didn't mean to suggest that I would trust a
list member over the man himself (I apologize, as it did sound that way).
Rather, I was hoping someone here could shed some light on the seemingly
conflicting information coming from the source.
Of course, I could call TiiCo again to clarify, but I was hoping that some
CA TiiCo owners could comment first. I'm aware that TiiCo has provided some
misleading info in the past on the subject, so I was looking for an
outsider's view who may have already sorted out first hand and interpreted
what exactly is going on.
But now that I'm aware of the TiiCo "support group," I may hit them up for
answers.
Thanks,
James
