Subject: Max tire size

What's the generally accepted maximum permissable tire size with 15" wheels? My Westy came with 225/70s or 225/75s (I forget which at the moment) on it when I purchased it. After tiring of the front tires rubbing every time I entered a driveway w/ the wheels turned, I replaced the front shocks. The situation is better, but still not resolved.

Are the tires simply too big or is this a spring sag issue?

Cheers, JD '86 Westy
