My brother's '85 GL (Recent purchase.) has one mounted on tracks right behind the passenger seat. The tracks run parallel to the bench. Is a 5 seater rare? I've seen the rearward facing jumpseat behind the passenger seat, but not one mounted on tracks like this. Any comments appreciated. Pete,

The single seat option is rare indeed. It's not really a jumpseat but a front seat on a pedestal which gets mounted on the stock middle bench tracks. Can be easily retrofitted to any van or double cab. You will find the same set-up (times 2) in the back seat of the Jadgwagen double cabs.
