Hello list, I spoke too soon... a little fine tuning by ear 1 degree or so, and no more knock. I could barely keep the van idling at 5 before top dead center. It also did not like to run at 0, as someone else suggested. p.p.s.- Thx to all who offered suggestions, I think im on the rite track.
