If people would stop opening attachments they weren't expecting, these things wouldn't spread. Maybe I'm just being optimistic here, but it seems like people ought to be bright enough not to open an attachment that comes on a message that just says "Hi, test", regardless of what operating system they're using. (And yes, the latest virus going around really *is* that lame. It's not sneaky at all.) Like a lot of automotive problems, the root cause of the problem is the nut behind the wheel.
