The cold is hard on machinery, I guess one or two nights isn't going to get
everything cold soaked.  The transmission in neutral has everything turning
inside it and does the better job of warming things up.


A spell of real cold is good for the repair shops, even in northern
Minnesota where there are still people who feel as you do.
