Hi All, When I think of the hours it took to replace the large panel, mid-ship behind the drivers door, all because of a "little seam rust", When I could have been up in the forest, sitting around a camp fire, groovin with all the little animals; I have to say to myself, 'self' what the heck you doin here? If I had it to do all over again, I would have just sand blasted the seam, resealed it, painted it, and took sleeping pills, if necessary, so I could sleep, knowing that, that insidious seam rust was in there, eating away at sweetie! :) Yes, I do like to work on my bus, and Yes, Its nice to have it dependable. But dependable is the key word here for me... But Folks, I bought it so I could use it! I mean Who Owns Who Here? Help! :) Maybe, we need to start a new subgroup that go's like this....... Hello, My name is John, and yes,,, I`m a Vanagon addict.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------- Chris I think the point is it is Friday...

Thanks, Chris

I have an 83 Westy and I don't use the upper bunk. Is it possible to remove the pop top and install a regular roof from a passenger Vanagon?

Happy Friday!

Dave Emmons 83 1.9 Westy

what would you gain from that? too much work, and it would make your van worth less.
