Okay, so I just started up the van, and I was getting 13.6v across the battery at an idle, and something closer to 13.8v at the alternator. This sound okay to everybody? I'm pretty sure the auto stores wouldn't fail this alternator on its return tests with these numbers. The alternator is the bosch.
