One of the slickest setups I have seen was a mechanic who had made his own jigs. He used various tranny gears and parts of the tranny housing to builld the jigs by both welding and machining so they did whatever it was they were suposed to do. I didn't really appreciate the specifics of which did what, but I appreciated the ability to make up those tools and to get it done.
