<P>Check the info from Dennis Hayes (he's been on this list a long time, and my experience is he knows what he's talking about). There are some very good articles on bleeding the WBX'er in the archives, take a minute, find and read them.</P>
<P>Regarding the cold air coming in: could very well be your cables from the heater control. if you don't already know, drop the spare, and look up into the cavatyyou'll see where th cables meet the mixer box, check to see that the fresh air is closed all the way off. I rmember when I first bought my Vanagon, it was Summer, and I could not close the heater. Faster I went hotter it got. I soon replaced the cables. But the quick fix is simply to close them manually, at the mixer box.</P>

<DIV></DIV>minute i start driving... my gauge goes down pretty quickly, which is great

<DIV></DIV>like its not reading at all (like when the van is not even on) how can i
<DIV></DIV>flush out enough coolant and get more water in? is this my problem? Yes i
