Check the fuel pressure after shutdown. It should hold for quite a while. If it drops off quickly, you have a leaking injector. Also check the hall sender wires where they enter the distributor. These can cause intermittant ignition problems.

Hello all, first thx for some of the quick replies. Some more info. I pulled the plugs after about 500 miles on a trip (plugs were put in about mid september) and i just recently pulled them to see how they were, they look good. Also, regarding the run on after shut down, (besides checking plugs) the tailpipe shows no sign of carbon buildup. I just checked the pressure regulator and theres no gas in the vacuum end of things. could one of my supposed good plug wires be bad, even tho i got spark on all four, and could not see any arc-ing to the engine? -Erin Randolph lexluthier72@yahoo.com
