Jeff writes: I did it last summer WITHOUT pulling the engine although I had to drop it about 8 inches careful of lines, hoses and wiring to gain access to drill out and helicoil new threads. Gotta remove muffler, loosen bolts and move heat shield up and wrangle the engine support bar a little but it can be done.
