Hi Andrew,

I paid GBP 3700 here in the UK. The van had already been imported by the previous owner, who bought it new in SA then drove it to the UK in 2001.

Looking at South African used car pages on the web, used examples of the "Volksie Bus" seem expensive. I saw a couple the same age as mine and they were both advertised at over GBP 5000.

Mine needs some minor bodywork and some minor electrical faults fixed. With those jobs completed I would hope it will be worth a lot more than I paid for it.

Tony
