Hello All,


I just subscribed to the list.  I have been a lurker for a while and have
learned a few things in the process.  I do not have the technical expertise
that many members have, but do share your enthusiasm for Vanagons.


When I subscribed I used the link off of the Web site and did not realize
that the wife's email was the current identity.  I accidentally subscribed
with the wife's email address.  The next time she checked her email she had
130  emails from the list.  Needless to say, she was a little suprised.


I currently have an '88 Westy.  My previous vanagon was a '91 GL.


We like to camp and are always interested in group campouts in the midwest.
We live about 60 miles southwest of Chicago.
