Alistair,

Been using the stuff for years. From the 944 turbo through all the custom harnesses for the Vanagon conversions. Works like a charm, particularly for low contact noise. However, the 80%/20% composition isn't the whole story. Intrigued with its effective performance, I ran a chromatographic scan on the solution. There are 7 other significant peaks at the sub ppt level. I suspect surface active contact agents, but finally decided to buy a bottle. Over the years, I have used several ml. Not worth cracking the additives. Whole mess of chain lengths in the polyglycols. Very reproducible chromatograms.
