Some Toyota Liteaces have (stock) dark-tinted side windows which cover the pillars. These look good. I've seen a pic of a VW T2 (Bay) with a similar (obviously NOT stock) treatment... looked very nice!

Surely our T3s can also be so treated? The metal just below the windows (windshield too) could also be painted gloss-black to enlarge the apparent size of the windows, a factory trick used on some Japanese vans.
