John ~~~~~~ you to Mike It sure is great to hear commmmmmmmmmon sense from someone today !!!!!!!!!I If this was left up to the few so called experts they would of had the fellow go to Home Depot purchase a 3" plastic pipe cut off a 12 "piece drill a 3/4 " hole thru it get a 3 ft length 3/4 dia. cut off dowel at 12" then insert dowel into hole . You now have your own boring or honing tool with a lifetime warranty. OPPS they forgot to crazy glue a 6" high piece of 40 D sand paper on the dia of the pipe. // You now spray wd 40 on the cylinder wall / set down & squeeze the cyl. between your legs / now take and insert your honing tool into the cyl. if it dont fit get a 3 lb. hand sledge and make it FIT ./ Please crank hone to the the RIGHT ONLY // If you crank the other direction you will have nothing LEFT. If the piston feels a little sloppy mix up a batch of body filler a take & rebush the inside of the cylinder let dry 20 min. then re hone it should be then good to go That is basically what the few XXPERTS really wanted the fellow to do/ Tis funny they didnt tell him to go the chain store junk store for 3 quarts of 99cent earl and a small bag of sand blasting compound All he would have to do then is put in 1 pinch of the blasting compound per quart & stir thorughly // He could then still use his old bearings and re hone them to fit his new crank ) Its Called chain store mentrualality As I said before New Piston Kits Only !!!!!!!!
