I have been entertaining conversion options, and the 5 cylinder conversion offered by Overland/Eurospec is the latest to catch my eye. I was wondering if anyone out there has done it yet? This conversion seems to make a lot of sense since it comes with a brand new motor, the motor is German(Audi) and it sounds like a fairly easy bolt-in without the wiring harness time involved with a subie conversion. I am considering installing it in myself but will take it to a shop if it is a little scary. Has anyone driven both a subie (2.2 or 2.5) conversion AND the SA 5 cyl and might be able to provide insight on how they compare? (Please only reply to this question if you actually have. Please do not reply if you think you might know how they might brive, but you haven't actually driven them). I am in CA and will need to get the CARB/or California legal version. Thanks in advance!
