Subject: Fuel Pressure a bit high -- OK???
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi All,

When my J-pipe fell off the other day and the O2 sensor wasn't in the loop, the van ran really rich. I posted a question to the list asking if this was normal... No information was forthcoming.

Today, I measured the fuel pressure. The spec is 29 PSI at idle and 36 PSI with the vacuum line removed.

My regulator is giving me 34 PSI at idle and 40 PSI with the vac line removed. So the regulator is working but is giving me pressure a bit high.

Anyone else have a reg like this? Did you change it? Did the engine's running improve?
