Interesting. My '84 Westy is Ivory, and fairly close to the Ivory pictured on this site. It has been repainted at some point, however, and the repaint is lighter than the original, based on the door jambs, which were not repainted. I don't believe the lighter color is due to fading, because when I went to my supplier for automotive paint (Mattos in Falls Church VA.) and ordered a quart of Ivory, L567, it is an exact match of the repaint job. I've bought lots of paint over the years from this place, and they've always been perfect in matching colors. Don't know why there is a difference in the VW Ivory. Jeff |
