I am working on my Syncro TriStar's new instrument cluster. I will be using a 1990 Jetta speedometer (950 revs per km instead of 1000 so it will be more accurate with the 29" tall tires) and a 1990 Jetta Turbo Diesel tachometer. I do not want to have a digital clock as I want to install a boost gauge in that area. All the instrument pods that I have without a digital clock have a hole in the clear plastic so that I can adjust the analog clock. Can this plastic be removed easily, or it is 'welded' in place? Thanks in advance!
