Sigh, I guess I'm going to be supporting the digest folks soon.

I'm getting tired of reading some folks messages where a previous message has been quoted. Except I have a different problem. Some of these folks quote some of the text, but it has nothing to distingush that which is quoted, and their replies look like they are part of the original.

I've seen it on several folks now (BenT is one, Stan's another, but it isn't limited to them).

If you are going to quote someone else's message, please SEPARATE your message from there's so that it's easier to parse. Better yet, don't bother to quote. On other listservs, the lesser volume of traffic means that it is can sometimes be important to quote, to make sure folks know what context your reply pertains to. Here, on the vanagon list, the traffic is so high, that we really don't need the quoting most of the time (except perhaps by digest or archival replies...)
