Yeah John... that's it! I was pretty hot for one of those till my buddy showed me the article on the Rand KR2 homebuilt airplane. Damn... a VW powered airplane! We both built one, then learned how to fly! Had it for many years. Hot diggity .. a 170 MPH VW!!!!!

Never did follow up on the "boxes".
