... dang it I hate that.  what ever happened to Gas Stations that have a
beat up old gas tank to borrow?  I had to walk 2.5 miles in the dark,
temperature 20 degrees, then a guy who pulled up to the station while I was
getting a bit of gas couldn't be bothered to schlep me back to the car!

At the station, you had to buy a cheap can for $4, they didn't even have a
two liter bottle I could empty to bring enough back to get to another
station.  The can was so cheap it didn't have a vent, so it wouldn't empty
into the tank very well at all.

Must be the gawd forsaken state of New Jersey!!

So I can't find the thread on the spare gas can that fits in a spare tire
(Vanagon list, in the last 6 months.)

Can anyone remember/recommend where to buy a good "fits in the spare tire"
spare gas can?
