I have a high top Westfalia - interior lay out is exactly the same. The differences are:

- Top bunk folds down and then slides out. When it is up you have a 50cm 'wall' to hold stuff up there. - Mega storage bin over the front seats. - Removable storage bin behind the passenger seat.

If you are lucky you will have insulated rear windows and a factory furnace.

You have slightly more room up top than a pop-top westie, but still you can only sleep two adults up there and two on the bottom.

Enjoy the silence at night too - the hard top is really great - I enjoy mine!

anybody got pix, or just plain info, re the interior of a vanagon westy high top (as opposed to a pop-top)? we seem to have acquired a high top '87 vw westy vanagon, from a gentleman in amsterdam, for temporary use in europe this spring. we assume the interior of the high top is same, or close, as interior of the pop-top; which is to say, a panel folds-down up there to provide sleeping space for two. is that right? tia. art, '82 westy, san fran
