The SA grille has a total of 6 mounting points. There are 4 integral stab-on studs(2 left, 2 right), a top center 1/4 turn fastener and a screw at bottom center. Receptacles for the 5 attachment points along the top edge of the grille are in place on the round headlight vans prior to 1986. When installing a SA grille on an '86 or newer US van, only 3 of the 6 receptacles are in place once the headlight buckets are installed. Additional accommodations have to be made for 2 stab-on studs (inner right and inner left) and for the bottom center screw.
