In a message dated 1/22/2004 10:25:37 AM Pacific Standard Time, DVWImports@AOL.COM writes: Good Afternoon Gang & Jonathan, BT and John ~~~ We usually find when a person trys to discredit a person or business is either into parts selling or VW service / Some have friends who have parts sites that they are trying to protect, there are also those who are just Plain Jealous / Some parts site owners also use a alias email address to submit a sales pitch to the talk groups and they make it look like they are happy customers. <snip> Good afternoon, Don. Since I am not in the parts business nor am I affiliated with people in the parts business, then I assume this portion of your posting is not addressed to me. My point is simply to support another listees opinion that vendors who post w/o real addresses or phone numbers should be scrutinized further. That opinion has not changed. You have answered my question with regard to your true location. It's just a pet peeve that many "globally" targeted companies do not have true addresses posted.

I spend no less than $10K per year on automotive parts and service. While that may not be much relative to many retailers, it is enough to garner some attention from a select few. However, that attention does not wander in those e-tailers that I cannot identify readily. I'm sure there are others have no problem with 800's and email access only. Neither do I. I just like to know who I am dealing with. Does that make any sense?

OK, I'm rambling now.
