Hi guys,

My 87 GL is doing that hesitation-skip thing after driving at a constant speed for several hours. I can stop, let it sit for a few minutes, start back up and go about 40 or 50 miles on the interstate before it does it again. This issue had been addressed in a VW technical bulletin and they recommend using a harness with a chip in it (part # 025.906.302A. I'm interested in purchasing a used harness if anyone has one, or would like to know if there are cheaper remedies out there.

Thanks,

Warren 88 Westy "Billy Bones" (in dry dock) 87 GL "He drank rum very strong all day and looked up somethin' fierce when spoken to."
