Bob,

I think you misread what Don wrote and that is why you didn't find the link.

I read Don's use of www.busheavens.com to be an example of what would be in a sham email by an owner's email alias praising a company to a list to drum up business.

He wrote: "Some parts site owners also use a alias email address to submit a sales pitch to the talk groups and they make it look like they are happy customers. You all have read it before. It goes like this ~ I just got my order from www.busheavens .com & Im so happy give them a try for your parts."

Seems pretty clear to me.

Then in the next part he goes on to tell us about his credentials - of which I know nothing good or bad as I haven't been into VW's and VW shows like that.

Don't know him, but he was attacked as a probable sham earlier and was writing an email to respond to that - giving us a phone number and his experiences.

Now if the phone number doesn't work, that is another matter as it wasn't part of a hypothetical example. Or if people who were regulars on the VW circuit during the years he described say they never heard of him or in other ways can contradict his "history," that also would reflect negatively.

Let's give the guy a fair shot here, reading what he wrote accurately.

Sam
