Hi gang:
Steven, sorry for your loss of a beloved Westy.
Once you get it back or replaced, start your file on
Westy's for insurance purposes, document everything with
receipts and photos, and one thing I have done is visit The
Samba.com every once in a while and print out the "for
sale" Westys that fit my vehicle so that I have a record of
what they go for around the country. Also, get a good VW
repair shop to write you an evaluation document of what
they
think your Westy is worth. All this is good when you have
to
deal with insurance companies.
