"It appears that the avp-worldwide site is gone. Unless I am way out of it, they are/were suppliers of rebuilt air and water cooled engines, with a good reputation?

Anyone know anything about them being out of business, moved, suffering from a virus? :-)

Just wondering as they were one of the options for my air cooled replacement this spring (I hope)

Thanks,

John"

I just ordered a 2.1 waterbox engine from Erin yesterday. I, too, noticed that the website was down, but I'm not concerned. As for the air-cooled version, I bought a 2.0 liter air-cooled rebuild from AVP in 1997 and put over 150,000 trouble-free miles on it. It is my good experience with the air-cooled that caused me to make the decision regarding the new waterbox.
