We sell AVP's engines and deal with the company everyday. Their website seems to be hit-or miss; it goes down relatively often, so I guess they're not using the most reliable hosting service. I get the feeling that it's somewhat of an afterthought to them, certainly not their primary channel of business.

Their engines are listed on BusDepot.com, though, so you can order them from our website if you'd like, and your engine will still ship directly from AVP. (Or of course you can order by phone, either from us or directly from them.) The link for their engines on our site is below; every engine listed there except for the Bug engine is an AVP.

I have had AVP engines in two of my own Vanagons, and have hundreds of customers with them. Their failure rate has been next to nonexistent, and in the very rare cases where there has been a defect they have stood behind it 150%. In fact, in terms of commitment to quality and customer service they are one of the best vendors I've dealt with. I strongly recommended them, and would not for a moment hesitate to put another AVP engine in my own van.
