Subject: Short in rakio fixed by Tweeters
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

This is my recommendation for the Tweeters audio stores.

Maybe not all audio auto stores are the same but at my local Tweeters diagnosed a short in my Radio/Cassette and got rid of all unnecessary wires and installed a needed VW harness for the Radio that was missing. The former installer had spliced wires instead of using the harness. [$16.15 for the harness and one hour labor free.] The short was caused by a wire attached to the power line to the radio but went nowhere except the other end must have made contact with metal somehow and continued to blow fuses.

Now the radio works, the hodge podge of wires is now neat and uncluttered and the labor was free. AND the installer installed a new fuse set up that used VW type fuses instead of the glass ones formerly used.

I highly recommend the Tweeters stores, at least my local one in Encinitas California.

IMAGINE, an hour of labor for free.

William
